The Jesus Film App offers films about Jesus in thousands of languages. With a little preparation you can share it anywhere, even where there’s no internet.
Before you go
- Install the Jesus Film App and pick the language(s) of the people you’ll be visiting.
- Download the films while you have Wi-Fi, so they play offline. Check they play before you leave.
- Charge your phone fully and bring a power bank.
- For a group, bring a small speaker, or a projector if you have one.
Showing it
- One-to-one: a short clip about a single story (for example Jesus healing someone, or the crucifixion and resurrection) is often better than the full film.
- Small group: watch a section, then pause and discuss.
- Family or village gathering: the full film with a speaker or projector works well in the evening.
Questions to discuss afterwards
- What stood out to you?
- What did you learn about Jesus?
- Why do you think Jesus did that?
- What would it mean for you to follow Him?
Follow up
Share the app or a film link so people can watch again, and plan when you’ll next meet. Connect people who are interested with a local church or fellowship.
Be respectful: ask permission before showing films in someone’s home or community, and be sensitive to local customs.
